Pavilion:

The Sunset Beach Pavilion is an open-air covered structure sited directly on the beach and used for twig light music concerts as well as for beach festivals. Designed with a strong Florida Vernacular style the standing seam metal roof structure is accentuated with a central cupola. The exposed tongue and groove decking over the elegant structural wood truss members and beams and the solid round concrete columns all over an elevated poured concrete plinth provide a wonderful foreground to the beauty of the beach and water beyond.

Improvements:

A seven-acre park renovation, located on the Gulf of Mexico.  Facilities included a new parking area, bathrooms, entry drive, shelters, tot lot, educational kiosk, retention ponds, seating, and a nature trail boardwalk through Florida native landscape.
