Clearwater Beach, FL
This authentic beach house is an eloquent blend of Key West and Nantucket architecture style. The metal roof, wide porches, exposed rafters and overhangs were some of the Key West elements incorporated in the design of the house. The shingle style architecture brings the New England look predominant in Nantucket. The base of the exterior is lined with tabby shell stucco, and it looks as if the beach sand was climbing the side of the structure. Inside the house, the all-wood walls and ceilings, crown molding, dropped soffits and columns create a traditional look.
Special consideration was given to the relationship between the house and the outdoors. The covered porches offer spectacular views of the water and provide places to relax; and the living room, dining room and kitchen area open up to wide porches to welcome the warm feeling of the beach. This timeless structure was crafted with all natural materials and significant attention to detail to create its unique character.
